across和through都可表示“通过.....”，“经过”的意思，都可指从一定范围的一边到另一边。但在用法上有所不同。
1.across的含义与on 有关，表示动作是在某一物体的表面进行的，有“横过”，“越过”的意思。

补充学习：over在表示从一边过到另一边时，与across和through同义。但over可表示“越过到对面去”的动作，也可以表示“已越过到对面”的状况。
